CMLA Holds Eid Celebration

On November 25, 2011, the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association held its Eid Celebration at Pero Restaurant & Lounge with guest speaker Mark Holland, former critic for Public Safety and National Security in the shadow cabinet. Two floors of the restaurant were booked, over eighty lawyers and professionals were in attendance and the event lasted late into the night. The cuisine for hors d'oevres and dinner was Eritrean with a variety of cakes and pastries served for dessert.  From all reports, the food was fantastic.  All told, the event was a great success and one the CMLA plans to repeat in the future.
